A set of 3 Masks (Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman). Cheriyal masks are a modified version of the Nakashi art, distinctive to the Cheriyal village, of Warangal district in Telangana. Wandering storytellers used painted Cheriyal masks to build intrigue for the gathered crowd in any festival to narrate episodes from folk culture, religious texts or even daily life. The smaller versions were then sold as memorabilia and toys for children. Now, these masks are used as objects of decoration and it gives a instant retro look to any house hold.

Saw Dust and Tamarind Seed paste boiled together to make a paste, which is the main ingredient to make these masks.
